Used some speaker pods I had to add some better rear speakers as the ones behind the doors had given up the ghost :D

Neat solution, I like them.
Assume you covered in the carpet, but what's the base speaker pod or did you make all?

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

I did my first kingpin bearing replacement, which I'm bloody chuffed about.

thanks to martins video and another on YouTube by 'mech it better' I not only now know how to do this job but also how easy the brakes are, so I won't be paying anyone to do those again

Quick tip for anyone with wheel spacers, loosen the nuts on those before taking the brake pads off, otherwise you have to put them back on to hold the spacer still to undo them etc

Got my 4WD system working again on my '05.
Shorted vacuum sensor wires at the Control unit, fitted plug over intake manifold stub and fitted Jimnybits Free Wheel Hubs!

I read the V from this plug and vacuum sensor switch IS working!

Thank You Guys, I couldn't have done it with you!

Today I have mostly been having withdrawal symptoms for having abandoned Dreadnaught to the vagaries of a professional garage. There was another Jimny there too so she will at least have some company for a while anyway. It's more stressful than this outbreak and I have at risk parents.

Being released without intervention. The garage can't locate parts in a timely manner in the supply chain locally. So until parts are in hand she is coming home and being held in reserve for emergency. It does mean I get to continue trying to get the grand vitara to return more than 23.6 average mpg.

Got sent home from work this morning due to the Lock-down, so gave my Jimny a good snow-foaming, hand wash and a vac inside. Should stay clean now as it won't be doing many miles for a bit.

Well was supposed to be in France on leave, but hey........so used the Jimny to move some new water troughs and concrete plinths for under them in to horse fields. Lovely day as Bill of Withers once said for 40 seconds or so....so using the cabrio as a pick up was welcome anyway.
The land they are on is peat ground so when it's wet it just swamps, but today it was just very damp , so perfect to use the Jimny to flatten the fields where the horses hooves had churned the up! Just selected 4wd and drove in straight lines side by side for an acre.
Then dug new drainage ditches and set new harder standing at the gate entrances ....using the Jimny to flatten it evenly down .
Proper motor for a proper job.B) ;)
