Did some shopping. Ordered a set of wind deflectors today, and the Jimnybits roof rack I ordered a day or two back is due to arrive tomorrow.

Dreadnaught had a nice gentle day yesterday in compensation for Monday spent dragging her favourite twin axle trailer about all day. She gets to repeat the process today. Lucky lady!

I had a trip to Elgin, to buy some bedding plants, and was unsure if the Jimny would have enough space, but a little adaptation worked fine.

The car turned through 2000 miles today, so I will be booking it in for its 2k inspection.

Hi! New guy here. I fixed the broken door panel on the inside of the driver door. It was rattling so i bought a few meters of velcro and now all is good!

I'm in Northumberland mate we should meet in the middle at some point although you'll probably leave me stuck in the muck.

Have you done the lane that starts behind old Hexham racetrack?

I received a few bits and bobs a little while ago (wasn't actually a member of the forum at that point but have since signed up). I bought a whole load of stuff including new LED headlights, LED backlights, new fuel tank plate (mine had disappeared), side rock slider bars with step and a new front bumper, transfer box plate and some suspension mount sliders/plates. An image of them attached on my little 1999 Jimny as well as a picture of it out this last weekend :cheer: :cheer:

That lane has a TRO (traffic restriction order) on it, it is not legal to drive unfortunately. Looks good as well. Tip of the day - google 'Northumberland definitive map' and you will find if a lane is legal or not with their online mapping system.

Have a look a little further south around Dipton Mill. Theres a nice ford there, which is legal to drive ;-)

Today I ordered more kingpin bearings from the bigjimny store. And the pas tensioner bearing too. Plenty of work means plenty of maintenance!

I got rid of that god awful clarion boat anchor that refused to play anything I like to listen to! I didn't bother buying a double din adaptor thing so I'm 3D printing one instead, first run in white PLA to check for fitment next time will be in a more suitable colour.

God these things are naff:

I used to have this in my old Pajero but I never fitted it so due to the extreme power afforded it would slide backwards into the shifter... Here we can see me discovering that HC memory cards don't work but never mind I have plenty more.
