I tried fitting some after market seats from an original bl mini into ours but couldn't get them low enough in the car
since then ORA do subframes if any one needs them
sold them back on ebay for more than I paid and fitted later model jimny seats in - they have much better side support than the original knackered (120,000miles) ones
They live in waterproof covers but look nowhere near as cool as your scooby seats

Halford - I've got some harnesses but not fitted them yet as I need to get some eye bolts jobbies.
darthloachie - yes read your post on the newer seats and was going to get some until these popped up. Slightly more expensive but yes your right they do look pretty cool.
