A Vitara on 35"s? Surely not...

On my drive...

At Tom's Farm (RIP Tom)... where it sheared all six 12.9 grade bolts holding a free wheel hub on whilst rescuing a stricken (delayed!) Landy... Rob Storr Crawler Box + twin LSDS + Centerforce Dual Friction (on/off!) Clutch... something had to give... LOL

Dave ;)

Spent yesterday fabbing...

First, one of these...

WTF is that then? ;)

Ah... wiring bridge for the switches, wanderlead plug, split-charge relay, and 6-way fusebox...!

It mounts with two self-tappers into the bulkhead, and the other end is neatly (ORA) tabbed to the radiator mount...

The holes every 3" apart along the edges are to ty-wrap all the wires and cables neatly underneath... just needs powdercoating... with...

...the ORA rollhoop I've now finished off... it came in flat-pack form if you remember from further back in the thread... So it was just a matter of me assembling it in the back of the Jimny -

Tacking it together once I'd got the bits cut to length, and then fight to get it out through the passenger door -

And then MIG weld it up in the garage -

And add the ARB compressor bracket -

Currently thinking of anything else that needs adding before it goes for powdercoating...

THANKS to the ORA once again! B)

That compressor mount is a smart idea.

If it were me, I'd add a few small lugs at strategic places around the cage to hook straps and things onto.
