So far I've done a 2 inch spring and extended shocks, Spring retainers, 215/75 KM2's,
wheel spacers, tree sliders, cb and built a winch bumper to fit my 8274.

Winch sits about 5 mm of the rad.

I like the bonnet 'locks'. That looks a neat and tidy install.

Won't the reg plate bolt to the new bumper or why not magnetic tape it?

Also, that's one of my nicknames from the 70's, "ABU"

:)

The reg plate is on velcro so I can take it off when competing as i put a net on the bonnet for strops etc. It'll go on the cage when I build it.
I've seen a few Jimny's with ABU plates.

Wouldn't the number plate mount on th winch bumper, just above the fairlead. All legal and above board then.

I don't use it on the road anymore but I never had a problem where it is.

Fitted some 4 inch springs from ORA this morning, also test fitted some 31 10.5 15 kingpins, gonna need a fair bit of trimming which I'll get round to next week.
Eventual plan is to fit 33's with a rock crawler box as always money putting things on hold.
Wheel spacers are still fitted.
