I had to send the towbar back because they listed it for a Junior but it was for a Pinin. Sadly they have been a bit unhelpful over this insisting the listing was correct so I won't be using them again.

Just coming up to 1 year here now.
Just done 2000 miles and the twelve month service is due soon
Since I last posted I got a spare wheel and had to buy a jack.
I made a centre armrest that slots into the centre console between the seats.
I bought a universal boot liner - it has helped with noise pollution too.
It took weeks but the floor mats eventually came from the dealer which were a freebie.
Fitted twin horns which are a bit better than the Noddy horn,

First service was done today, 2300 miles in a year. They hooked up the automatic to a recalibration machine and the gearchange was ............er recalibrated. This is a new one to me but then it is my first AGS auto.
Looks like they charged me £4 to get rid of old oil and some more dosh for other stuff. Next time I'll take it home and dump it when I go to the tip.
All this came to £151. Got a lift to and from the shops while they did it - took 2.5 hours.
A nice bunch of people, all praise to Cropleys.

I think the oil disposal charge is an environmental thing?
Unless you tell them you want the old oil back it will just disappear in to a tank with the others .
They'll probably charge you for a container then lol I think Suzuki do a servicing package but I suppose once the warranty is up you'll do it yourself anyway?
When my daughter had a new Alto (the last one) it had to be recallibrated. It wasn't an auto but I think it was something more about the way they are driven over here as they were set up differently to other countries.
It was the throttle causing a problem but Suzuki UK knew about it.

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)

There are a few service tasks I would like them to do but simple stuff like oil and such I would do. And anyway I'll at least take an old empty oil tub if there is a next time.

Just been reading Daniel's Ignis thread and I think I better check the car over. Funny thing is the garage phoned me a week after to ask if everything was alright. Not being used to follow up service it has set alarm bells ringing now. I did feel on the way back that some of the nippiness had gone but I haven't driven it since to really notice if it is more sluggish.

I always used to find that a car after a service tended to tighten up a bit(like a new car) and then loosen off a bit after using for a while.

Maybe it was the resetting of the gearbox?

I'm running around in my Junior and it is really nippy so maybe I am being spoilt.
