Well, who watched it; the rebuild of a series 1 Landrover. Restored to its original factory finish. Who could drive one though apart from mudpluggers. I could. I had a series 1 back in the late seventies and HATED everything about it.

It is easy when there is a team and money is no object. ;)

About to watch that today. Was that the one where the rear suspenders was pants. I never liked Triumph so never owned one but nearly had a Herald and nearly got a Spitfire but then always saw the light and kept with Ford.

l always liked the Stag, my understanding of the cooling problems was that most people at the time didn't understand the difference between filling the rad with water and having to use coolant because of the ally engine.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

Yep, I always the like the Stag as well. Yep, that was the reason they kept overheating. No coolant additive and no annual flush through of the system.

It's funny how Defenders are just like Marmite!

I like the latest Freelander and Discovey but would not have one.

Neither would I. Not even sure I'd have a Range Rover either.

Must be me but I thought the program wasn't that good.
Mainly the two 'stars' that err, star in it.
It was the first one I've seen and found it boring.
Must be an age thing but I wouldn't want the 'mechanic' bloke working on anything of mine.
Talk about heavy handed and, well, a bit thick.
I was only wanting to watch the LR Series 1 prog but can't get it on catch-Up.
Having said that, if the prog was done in the same way as the "It's a STAG!" episode, I am probably glad I missed it?

Oh well, back to watching Steve & Norm!

That is so true but I like to see what they do to get round problems. The better program is 'Classic Car Rescue'.
