I believe my son will be valeting BigJimny and LittleJimny (aka. Gerald the Jimny) to within an inch of their lives tomorrow.
I have been told to leave them alone as I do not clean to his standards!

Here's wishing you all a great day!
The event I was supposed to be attending has now been cancelled so I could have come after all. There's always next year.

That could work! To save me reading through the 29 pages of this thread, can someone give me a quick summary of any preparations I need to do or can I just turn up in a standard gen4?I have had a couple of cancellations if you wanted to come?

I believe you can just turn up with your gen4, no need to do anything? There are a number of routes graded at different levels so plenty for a stock car. Send Martin Lines a PM (or call him?) to get a ticket and he will let you know more about the event too.

There are no specific preparations as we will all have enough kit between us.
It will be muddy so bring boots, floor mats etc. to protect as much or as little of the car as possible. Bin bags are great to put muddy kit in so you drive home in clean.
It is as much a social event, some cars may not even leave the car-park, just having a chat and a "Jimny day". Others will drive around the marked tracks from "White" through "Red" to "Black". Standard cars should stick to white.

So, if nothing else, this meet seems to have generated a national "Clean your Jimny day"
