OK, this is back on again.

MOD has confirmed 19th October at SLAB COMMON.

I now need to start finalising numbers. At the moment we are below the target number of cars and I may have to open up the invite to avoid making a loss.

If you were considering coming but putting off booking to the last minute can I ask you to consider booking now, if not then I may have to change the event, so "Book Early" as Fred Pontin once said.

Already booked and paid in full. Hoping others do as well as I'm looking forward to attending the event.

I assume that camping is still on etc...

Opening it up to a suzuki only meet wouldnt be so bad martin . There are lots of sj and vitaras that would come im shore . But people need notice to travel these sorts of distances . Opening it up to other makes will wreck the hole idea of the event in my opinion . Might as well turn up to a play day and save yourself the hastle .

I got an invite to this yesterday from some LandRover owners.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

Well I will wait a couple more weeks and then open it to other Suzuki's as the cost is £900 (which makes it 30 x £30). Therefore until it hits 30 cars on the list you can see how much loss I am making :(

Rhinoman - I hope the Landrover drivers don't think they are coming!

I think if you opened this up to other suzuki models you'll easily be able to hit the target numbers.

Over on my club website ( www.suzukiclubuk.co.uk ) we have a lot of members with Sjs and Vitara's that would probably be interested in attending.

Plus LJs and Sjs are Jimny's ;)

Damn it's been confusing about the date changes!

I'd prefer it to be a Jimny event, but if inviting other Suzuki owners will help, I'm not going to be opposed to that either. : )

Would anybody fancy a pub meal after, or know of anywhere near the site that would cater to a carpark full of muddy Jimny's? That might be fun to do.

Right - last call for Jimny owners.

You requested an event and I took the plunge and set one up.

We have not made the required numbers yet.

If anyone is intending to come but has not committed financially but intends to in the near future let me know.

If not I will have to open the invite to other Suzuki models

I was coming but unfortunately due to the date change can no longer make it,

How ever I would be willing to still pay in support of the club
