Suppliers/Dealers or anyone selling with a commercial view in mind CANNOT post here unless responding to a specific request of a member in a "wanted" post.

Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum

Do people actually still go around nicking wheels these days?
I suppose could understand it if it was a set of wheels from some new and expensive Bentley or something - bar stewards the lot of them

Funny you should say that, Mark....I lost the wheel nut key for my Cherokee...
I took it to one of the tyre outlets and they removed them for me using a hydraulic crusher... brilliant....but the manager said just that to me when it was finished..."don't bother with lockers, people don't nick wheels nowadays".
Wish I had his optimism !!!!

I'm planning to live forever.....so far, so good !!

I can assure you that there are bits of Leeds and Bradford that you would not want to leave your Jimny unattended for any length of time.

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
ADOS Attention Deficit Ooooh Shiny!

Got me thinking back to many years ago when the Manager at the company I worked for, returned from holiday to find that the 5 wheels on his office chair had been removed & the chair left on 5 bricks.

Don't have locking nuts on my Jimny. It feels like every vehicle these days has alloy wheels, so suspect you need security for steel wheels these days

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

Looks like Chris Baxter may have found the solution - I had a reply from the fellow on eBay who sounded positively optimistic

I chanced £20 and will know in a few days...

Yep, lilke your places around Leeds and Bradford, there are places in the West Midlands that I wouldnt drive through at less than 30mph for fear of someone nicking the wheels!

Chis Baxter, Sir

A huge "THANK YOU" to you for sending me that link.
Andrew Ghey immediately identified and sent me the correct replacement adapter for £20 saving me a lot of stress, time, and hassle. Luckily my tyres stayed inflated in the interim!

For anyone else that might find themselves in a similar predicament in the future and finds this thread, Andrew is contactable directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - just send him a clear photo of the locking-nut. He's friendly and communicative and will get a replacement to you very quickly.
I can't thank him (or Chris Baxter) enough.

I am however still on the lookout for 4 x standard Jimny alloy wheel-nuts... so anyone breaking a Jimny I will be at the October meet-up and could pick them up then.

Glad to hear Andrew delivered for you Max.
I'm no off-roader but old habits die hard, I always keep a spare key tool (one in the car, one in the shed) and a set of standard nuts for punture likely outings. I bought a set of 5 Febi 46694 nuts for £25 but if I was buying again I'd chase down a set of second hand ones.
