AHA! This was on Microsoft Edge browser on the same desktop PC... so it looks to be a Google Chrome related issue?...

Worled out the "quote" thing as well... bit of an awkward method of doing it? There's a "Carriage Return" symbol in the seperating line after the quoted post you have to click before you can type a response...

Hmm, so apologies to all.

I have been looking into the "Recent Topics" issue and could not get support as I was a couple of patch levels behind current

Therefore to get support I did an update a couple of nights ago. This seems to have introduced some issues, one of which appear to be fixed by flushing your browser cache (Control-F5 in Chrome).

I still have not resolved the "Recent Topics" issue but at least I can now get support on it. Interestingly "Recent Topics" might be a caching issue as well and I notice in the log files for a complete server crash the other day (Thanks to Dave for reporting) that the final thing it was doing before the failure was "cache run out of memory".
