Well James' new "Jimny" has arrived. She is a 1986 vintage SJ that he bought over the internet and had delivered making it a completely remote purchase. Through the use of live video and photographs from the seller and then "Shiply" to collect it and transport it back to Berkshire it was safely purchased by only transferring the money when receiving a picture from the Shiply driver showing it loaded on his transporter.
The aim it to restore it to completely standard condition. It is already in good shape for an SJ that is 36 years old. Here are pictures showing its starting point.
