Hey,

We are 2 jeep lovers and bought ourselve's a Jimny, we live in Holland our family is also involveld with jeeps and classic cars.

It's a 2002 model (vvt) (manual transmission)with 43k km on the odo.
Last weekend we did our first mod, a 2 inch Trailmaster lift.

Now we are looking for a set of wheels instead of the 3 spoke original ones.

This weekend im gonna refresh the oil and filter.
Will 5w40 do the job? I use this in my Volvo also.

I think this is a great forum!

Ok.

I think the grabbers at2 will be a good choice. The garage told us they always used 5w40.

It's running fine but if 5w30 makes that difference i can think about using that.

You have VVT on a 2002? are you sure? How does the Trailmaster kit ride? did you get the comfort kit or the sports kit?

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

Yes i am sure. The engine has the timing chain.
Instead of the belt.

The Trailmaster is a comfort set it drives well. A little rough but we like it!

The VVT didn't come in until 2006.
You have an M13A NON vvt engine.
It is the same basic engine but does not have the bump at the front of the rocker(cam) cover where the engine sticker usually is.

Non VVT

VVT

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)

It might be firm. My english is not that good!

Ok I was confused with DOHC.

I have refreshed the oil and filter today with 5w40. Seems to be running good.

Next tuesday we mount the new Tires. Grabbers AT2.

I bought second hand 7J steel rims today.

Guess 215/75/15 will fit great in combination with the 2 inch lift?

Yes they should be fine if your going to fit general grabbers

In the technical section at the top there is a thread on rough tyre sizes :)
