After finishing work today I decided to drive the 15 miles to a green lane in the Yorkshire Dales I've been wanting to drive along. I didn't go all the way along it as it's 5 or so miles in length (I think...) but the bit I did travel along was a great track with loads of loose stones.
Below is a little clip of heading back to where it starts, or finishes... Depends which way you come on to it I suppose
Anyway, I really enjoyed it and was amazed at just how well a stock Jim coped with everything. I think I still could do with a little lift though

Nice video and great views. Up North it seems a lot of the tracks are out in the open. Down T'South in Surrey a lot seem to be in the woods :silly:

Yes I agree that's a great video Grizzly.
I see you are already contemplating a lift
Don't forget what I said about that credit card bill: It will be 31's, underbody protection, winch, HD bumpers and HD recovery points next
Did you brick it in case you got stuck on your own on that lane I wonder

Cheers! You're right the views are something else I'd like to find some 'green' lanes as the name suggests but there's not that many round here to begin with... I really need to search out some more and find someone to go laning with, although I enjoy it on my own but it'd be good to have someone else along, especially if I get in a bit of trouble

Haha! Cheers Smoggy!
I was a little concerned at first but once I got to the lane and saw the conditions I felt alot better about it. I'm going to go right along it at some point, maybe next weekend? I'm not sure if it changes at all but I reckon it'll be the same stoney terrain all along it so even if I'm on my own, I should be ok
