I've bought a 2000 W reg Jim with 70k on the clock. It's a very tidy vehicle for the year and on the whole, I'm very happy with the purchase.
I've not yet taken it up t'dale but she'll be heading up tomorrow. I'll post some pics of her while up there but this is the sort of terrain I work on.

I specifically looked for a green one as it fits me, the scenery, and the work perfectly.
I've put all the important gear inside and I can just about fit it all in
We had plenty of rain down last night so I'll get to see just how she copes with a bit of wet ground tomorrow cos it'll be pretty wet up there. It was under 10 foot of snow in the recent bad weather, even the tractors got stuck
Speaking to Mountain Rescue and they said that there is snow down again above 650m... I go pretty high but I don't think I'm that high...

Even during winter i will help you, i love cold
Beiing officially "authorised" to drive around in such beautifull landscapes is like every's 4x4 drivers dream (excempt the "lady's" in our other dreams).
You're a lucky man, certainelly that you can share all this whit your little compagnon.
Your child will have good memories from the drives into the fields with Daddy !

Believe me, in winter it's not the most of pleasant places, no matter how much you like the cold

Aye, it's a tough job, but someone's got to do it
This was just before the recent snows... The road (and I use road in the loosest possible terms ) was under 10' of snow and had to be dug out with a digger, even the tractors got stuck!

Grizzly wrote: Here's a little video from today. It's basically a quick (ish) drive round some of the land I do mole control on. The off road footage is double speed and the on road footage is four times speed. It just gives an idea as to what I'll be doing pretty much every day in my jimny and the terrain it'll be working in
On 3,10 min. was that a mole disguised as a rabbit?
Around 7,48 min., LOOK OUT... the moles are getting bigger... looks like sheeps but there is one that was loosing it's camouflage... i think that was why you new they were not sheep but moles.... :woohoo:
Just laughing a bit (green)... still jealous....
There you have some "Spaces" mate... woooooooooowwwww !!!
It's imense.... you can scream as loud as you want i think nobody will hear you!
I wouldn't feel safe without a high quality sleeping bag in the back of my car and my cell-phones battery fully charged during wintertrip's in case you need it when stuck.
