Even on stock size tyres the transfer gearing is to high for off-road so going to 31" just makes it worse , add to that the extra stess on the drive-train and those ''mean looking'' tyres end up costing you a fortunejimnybob wrote:

oh i see. what size are stock tyres meant to be?? also does anyone know what the top/cruising speed of a jimny with 31"tyres and rocklobster box is??

oh i see. what size are stock tyres meant to be?? also does anyone know what the top/cruising speed of a jimny with 31"tyres and rocklobster box is??
my jimny is seriously overweight with roll cage, bumpers ect running a m13aa with 4.16:1 rocklobster, 235/75/15 special tracs I can still hold 70mph on the flat. More than enough in a jimny.
