Hello from a fellow Jimny nut lol!! was created by Tonka2
Hi! My name's Jacqui and I'm the proud owner of a 56 plate Jimny (Tonka 2).

He's my second Jimny and I've had other cars (including 2 Vitaras) and I can't see myself owning anything else now to be honest.

I've not been bitten by the serious off road bug (yet) so he's a road car and I've started to spend a bit of money on him after owning him for two years! I'm interested in getting the Suzuki side steps for him and was wondering if they are a straightforward bolt on fit or is there any drilling involved. Bearing in mind I'm female (but NOT a girly girl) and I'm not a mechanic :-) I don't mind paying to get them fitted properly.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

If this works - here's a pic of Tonka.

Thank you for the offer! I'm in Derby though, so it's quite a trip - thanks anyway :-)

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome :-)

I really dropped on when I bought this one. I've had him 2 years and he only had 6000 miles on the clock. He's only done just over 11000 now as he's been a second car. I got divorced recently and so I'm using him a lot more now and I'm going to spend a bit of money on him. He's in mint condition and I'm very proud of him!

Any advice on the steps would be greatly appreciated! :-)

To me, he looks very masculine :-) Plus, I've always preferred male company & we have a lot of fun together, I feel safe in him - he's like a pal - so he has to be male lol!

I know……I'm weird lol!!

A jimny's been called many things over the years. But masculine... ??!! :P

Perhaps if you fitted some 31 inch tyres you'd be getting somewhere towards masculine B) :P
