starting on my 3link. 16inch's of travel, but ill be limiting it to 10 or so so that i don't have shocks through the bonnet. 50mm bump stop spacing for a 31" tyre, but i can see the head light bucket going on a diet soon :cheer:

Been up and running for a few months now, managed to keep 14" of travel in it and still drive it to work and back everyday.

Your 3 link is  . Are you going to make also at rear?

Very good job. Some more picks of the susp set up?

With what t-case do you run 31'' . 4.1 or 5.1 ?

The rear end is a misstery, maybe rover trailing arms will be swapped in, or an X-link or I mod the tank in a big way and 3-link the rear end... I guess I'll sort it out if I ever get there...

The coil bucket had to be moved forward 50mm as the cycle changed it enough to miss the bump stop completely. And you can see the lower links have a 40° bend in them and go over the top of the tie rod.

This is on the passengers chassis rail

This is the top link of the diff

Gearing is currently 4.16 on 30s but I have chromo CVs coming and hoping to put in 5.14 in as my final gearing set up.

Also at rear you can do 3 link. You wont have any problem with the tank. When you try to do 4 link at rear

you have problems with the tank.

A friend of mine did his jimny 3 link at rear and had no issues with the tank.

He used the original radius arm bases on tha chassis. I am waiting to start on mine.

Take a look.

He has 4'' suspension lift, 3cm body, 6.5 t-case, front+rear arbs, front+rear HD axleshafts and CV's, silverstone xtreme 31/10.5/15.

Better articulation and axle won't rotate when it articulates.

At least, that's my guess.

Hey panosd do you have any more detailed pics of how the 3link setup connects to the rear axle. I'm very interested Cheers.
