Cheers folks.
Just a question,I'd had never driven a Jimny before it came, because of the 2" lift should it feel a bit sensitive with the steering ?
It's like I have to give my full concentration when driving it,especially over 50mph.

I've driven many cars in my time but never anything like this . !

I thought the same when i got mine coming from a little clio that had been lowered felt very odd, but after 2 weeks of driving it every day I love it!

Think the large tyres make it squrmish on the road I fitted a steering damper and does seem to make it a little better.

Also It might be because I don't really take it over 55mph It doesn't seem to bad.

yeah really easy, I got the bigjimny bracket and cheap disco steering damper off eBay.

all you do is open up one of the holes in the chassis just behind the bumper on the nearside of the car, I did mine with a 12mm drill bit then clamp the bracket on too the steering drag bar near where it mounts on to the power steering arm, then one end of the damper fits in the chassis hole and the other in the big jimny bracket. Whole Job only took about half and hour and I wasn't sure what I was doing!

I've just had 235/75/15's fitted which work out too 28.88" outside diameter which is slightly larger than yours and I've probably done about 100miles on them and the first 20 felt squirmy but now fine!

edit...

just seen you've linked to a full kit, I think these are even easier as they clamp found the chassis rather than having to drill out the hole. but they cost over twice as much!

Thats a nice truck. As above, we all know the best ones are the black ones.

The driving experience is unique, its typical of the little zuks. Its a bit vague and pitches all over the place on the road.

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!
