Just a quick update -
At the start of Jan i took my other half back home after spending the new year with her (its a complicated arrangement, she lives 160 miles away near the dorset border and im in stoke, but suits us both down to the ground), my head gasket went!!! Local garage had the job of fixing it - I used to live in the area so it was handy knowing who to trust Well, after picking it up, the next job was the MOT - epic fail, the cat on the manifold needed doing so that was another huge bill But before all this happened, I'd ordered the ASFIR diff guard, fuel tank guard and front sump/ skid plate. Expensive but worth it!!! :woohoo: however, the sump guard/ skid plate looked naff with the lift, so ive since ordered the front ASFIR diff guard - again pricey but worth it. Also fitted genuine load liner and interior cage/ dog guard
heres a couple taken in Llanberis at new year
and for those wondering about the diff guards
even better - www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.444855...&type=1&l=84cb795740 - my mini build log via the book of face

Hope you guys are sitting down!!!
I got them from - www.tbruk.com/underbody-protection-plates-985-c.asp
and no its not a misprint on their website that's their prices!!!
I ordered the fuel tank guard, rear diff and front skid plate first - they came in two orders, with the skid plate being a special order from germany where their warehouse is, only to fit it and think it looked naff (see face book link) so i ordered the front diff guard to match the rear and am proper chuffed
The ORA fuel tank guard was released about 2 days after i ordered mine, so stuck with the order, but i can deffo vouch theyre the dogs!!!!
I dont have the time to make my own parts, nor can i weld very well, so bolt on parts are what i shop for. I might pay through the nose for some things, but.................. if and when i come to sell this version and decide to mod another, 95% of my mods can be swapped straight over
incidently, i do still have the front skid plate if anyones interested - was fitted for about 2 weeks whilst i waited for the other one to arrive. I think i still have the invoice, but no instructions - its in mint nick and am open to sensible offers

I also got fed up of my home made load partition rattling about and went out a bought the genuine zuki dog guard and also the load liner - again, pricey but deffo worth every penny!!! The home made version lasted for the best part of two years and cost a little over 50 notes - the newer genuine one was a little more expensive  Next on the list is some ORA front recovery points and a pair of the front shocker guards as well. I have seen a full length belly guard that runs from radius arm to radius arm, but it comes from italy oh, and a zanfi metal roof rack would be nice, but again have to put in a few more hours
