My Jimny from Bayonne - France was created by Laminak
Hello everybody,

I write you from Bayonne (France) B) and I am new on this forum and in the 4x4 world.
I have buy y Jimny who is named "Biquette" :cheer: because it climbs everywhere  , in june 2010 with 32000 kms.
It is a soft top model 1.3 SOHC. When I receive my Jimny, it was equiped with brigeston dueler (205/70r15) on origins rims. My jimny was a pure and hard stock version  .

During one year, I do basic checks and maintenance:unsure: . I met some bad surprises.
I change brigeston dueler tyres by some realy soft off-road tyres : Insa Turbo Dakar B) .

But today, I begin my preparation :woohoo: .
green filter installation.
In next time, I want to install a steering damper.
I have several ideas in project:
  • making a front bumper,
  • making different type of armor (gearbox and others)
  • installing of 3' lift kit
  • Installing bucket seat (is it the good name  )
  • ...

Some pictures:
My jimny when I bought it.

With it's new tyres. I love its

I remove the stab bar (more flex)

That's all today ;)

ps: sorry for my bad english, so don't hesitate to correct me B)

You English is excellent and is probably much better than our French.

Welcome, a nice smart looking Jimny. I like the slightly modified look sometimes more than the completely modified look.

Welcome! I love the white ones.

As martin says sometime the slightly modded ones look cool. The ones where it just hints at what its used for.

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!
