- may be teaching you how to suck eggs but when you have the front locker switched on don't turn the steering wheel else you'll snap a half shaft - they ain't the strongest in the world! :S

Yep, I am happy with understanding the forces involved with the locker, and I am a mechanically sympathetic person... though it might not look like it, as all the pictures I have posted so far are of something that I have bent, smashed or broken. :ohmy:

Sorry Cabriolet, the number plate lamp has seen better days, I kinda smashed it when strapping the cage to my trailer. Best place will be Braithwaites on the way into Warton, they have a nice selection of trailer lights. Deffo better than Halfords.
Not sure on Wagtail atm, maybe flying off to Florida that weekend, depends on flight prices. I wouldn't dare drive my jimny that far with the lift/cage on, far easier to tow it there if I do.

That what I have gone for.
I had to ask a few different sellers untill I found some that had the right sized threads to engauge in the plastic light cluster that I tapped. It doesnt look too bad, I thought I was going to end up with an ugly trailer board light. This should keep the MOT tester happy.
