Hi, I throught I'd start a blog of my jimny project. I brought the truck as a off road project. I've been into Scale 4x4 RC for a while and going with my family on off road days. in landrovers.
I how ever wanted a Zuki !
I found my zuki on Ebay in Coventry. and brought it for £3300, full MOT and half a year of Tax.
55,000 on the clock
So far I've been undersealing like crazy. I've had the rear exhaust off , rear bumper and plastic sill trims. to underseal beneath them. I've still got the front end to do. including a front bumper remove and refit.
I've brought a lot of parts to fit to the truck , most of they are waiting in my garage
including
6500 Tmax winch
2" spring spacers
front and rear shock spacer brackets 2" ish
SJ manual hub lockers and Jimny spacers ring from the big Jimny shop
extended brake lines
Transfer box guard
radius arm guards
Off road wheels and tires, 215/80/R15 insa turbo
roof rails for waffle boards
Tow bar kit from Just tow. (good rear recovery point)
anyway I'll post some pics later and add stuff as I go on!
John.
