hi,
my fronts shocks absorbers are destroy. So i bought ( jimnybits ) jimny +3" FRONT procomp ES1000 shock.
But, should I keep Shock Boots or not ???

Someone told me they hold the mud IN the boot, I dont know as i havnt had any real offroading done!

I have always ben told the boots hold the mud in and rust out the shocks

i kept mine on to just every now and again ill clean them out

My car came with pro-comps on and they had clearly been on the car a while and 2 or so years later they are still on, still working fine with no rust or scoring on the shafts, no leaks and they've never had boots on.
So I would go with the advice of leaving them off.
I can imagine that moisture would stay in those boots for a long time and removing them to clean them must be a ball ache.
