hello, does anyone know if the rear diff from a suzuki Samurai is the same diff as a Jimny ??? :dry:
Reason i ask is ive got a spare diff from my old sammy and was thinking of getting a Lockrite rear locker and putting it in the spare diff,
dont really fancy taking the diff out to fit, because i use it every minute of every day

Yes I'm afraid it will. Due to there being no diff in the transfer box , it will wind up the transmission until something breaks. As it inevitably will. Be it propshaft, hatfshaft or uj.
If you NEXER EVER usr four wheel drive, it will be ok. In which case why have a Jimny?

oh right, suppose id just have to take the diff out and get it fitted, thats a bugger really because ive got 2 spare diffs from a sammy one which diffs been welded but also has vitara ring and pinion but hey hoo,
