Have a close look at all the leading arm bushes, and the track rod ends.

Panhard bushes is my best guess, I had the captive nut on the axle (that the panhard rod bolts to) strip its thread, everything looked fine but I couldnt get faster than 25mph.

I had this exact problem with my KAP panhard rod bushes. The metal collars inside the bushes were too long so the actual bush wasn't doing anything and causing undriveable death wobble. I cut the collars down, tightened everything up and this cured the problem.

I had a similar experience driving along the m62 last yr. I tried ages to sort it changed wheels tyres. My motor has k.a.p springs ect so I contacted darren at k.a.p who knew straight away it was my pan rod bushes so i would start their as i,m sure their all pretty much the same.
