rocklobster was created by suzuki jimny fella
can eny one help me i am running 195 80 15 / 27" when on the road and when i go offroad (payandplays etc) i am running 215 80 15 / 29" will be going bigger in the future as i am 10mm from the garage roof now  so if i get a rocklobster 6.5.1 it will be amazing with 215 80 15 / 29" tyres in 4L offroad  but when on the road with my 195 80 15 / 27" in 2H what will my jimny drive like with the 6.5.1 tbox the reason for the to sets of tyres at the moment is that the 29" tyres are killing the gearing in H/L as thay are 4" bigger than standard but on 27" tyres the gearing is better on the road/offroad as thay are only 2" bigger than standard but still not happy haha.

what info can you guys give me thanks

ps would it inprove mpg with 6.5.1 tbox on 27"/29" ect

THANKS

I think, but can not be certain that the high ratios on any Rocklobster are about 10% lower than standard Jimny, which on my 215/80/15's I find to be about right and the speedo is quite accurate according to Tom Tom.

My 215/80/15's are 29.75" though. Different brands and lots of aggressive tread etc.

It will be quite nippy with 195/80/15's on I guess and ok at motorway speeds.

I run a Rob Storr 6:1, believe me you do NOT want a 6:1 box with 195 road tyres, it'll do 60mph flat out. Low box is great, but I run 750/16's (32" tall, similar to 235/85/16's) and i rev out in 5th gear on the road.
4:1 is the box to go for and even then you'll be a little undergeared on your road tyres.

someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe a 4:1 box is 10% lower in high range whereas a 6:1 is 23% lower in high range - Ive had both, 4:1 was right for 215/80/15's on the road
