Anti Roll Bar Disconnects was created by X-Eng Simon
I've thought of a really simple way of making these (hopefully commercially).

It's an alternative to the pin-sleeve arrangement commonly used on Jeeps except one less likely to become jammed with mud and which won't require the vehicle to be absolutely level to lock / unlock.

Do any of you have a photograph of a standard, un-lifted Jimny looking at the side of the axle with the wheel removed which shows the end of the stock anti roll bar and knuckle (the bit wiht the ball joint on either end)?

What I need to see is how much space there is around the anti roll bar on a standard vehicle.

My Jimny when I bought it had a body lift, longer springs and no anti roll bars fitted - so is not an ideal candidate to measure.

If this particular solution works, they could be really good value and easy to make!

Thanks in advance.

I remember once seeing some for the pajero rear anti roll bar drop links with a sleeve set-up, just cannot find any atm. I nearly did get them once for my old pajero, but never got around to it.
