Yeah I had been in 4wd when it happened previously. If thats all it is that would be great!
I havent had time to have a poke about yet though, would it be worth asking the garage to take a look when I book it in for a full service?
If you had the same "I could feel it hadn't changed back to 2wd" feeling (vibrating gearlever, feeling sluggish) when it happened the first time then I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong and the mechanic won't find anything anyway. That said if there is a broken gearbox or transfer box mount he will easily spot that.
