Gearbox oil around the drive shaft... ?

Hi,

New here. got a 01 Jimny with a few mods. Nice site. I've been lurking for a while!

Anyway, My gearbox bush has gone on the rear, so I've ordered a new upgraded part with harder bushes and transfer bracket from a tuning firm. Still waiting on that to be delivered.

In the mean time, I've noticed the gearbox has a small leak, it's not the drip drip kind but the kind that flicks up everywhere underneath the gearstick/selector area, pretty much where the drive shaft goes to the transfer box on the gearbox side.

I'm not too up to scratch on terminologies and abbreviations in the 4x4 world. But I was wondering if anyone can help me diagnose what it is without having to pull everything apart... ? And what to do next about it... ?
