Lower gear noise - possible clutch ?? was created by johnnyravo
Hi all

Just started happening the last few days but when I am in a lower gear the engine makes a terrible noise. It sounds like a whurring - metalic roll over type of noise if that makes any sense. It is also becomng more and more difficult to select the gears hmmm this doesn't sound good does it.

When I speed up - and reach about 60 is goes away.

If its important I have a 2004 Convertable. Thanks for any help.

I got my second hand gearbox from cam Suzuki when mine died, cost me £150 which I thought was a bargain considering the garage where gonna charge me nearly £350!
