So I bought my Jimny with a Sierra transfer case already installed :) Unfortunately i'm having a couple of issues.
The 2/4 selector lever shakes violently about 15mm forward & back especially 3rd gear 4k rpm it will ease when at hwy cruising to a standard vibration.
There is a metallic scraping / ticking from around the transfer case especially on startup. It has been suggested it could be a uni joint.
There is a constant drip from the transfer case. have checked/replaced all the gaskets / seals i'm thinking perhaps the input / drive shaft is slightly miss-aligned?
The case was a custom install & apparently they made up custom shafts which are a PITA to replace. I was looking at the ORA mounting kit & was wondering if the shafts are all stock or are custom parts needed?
Any help or suggestions appreciated

Has it always done it or has it just started?
John.

On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.

I have a metallic noise, its the dust cover on the input flange which has come loose. My seals are leaking but hopefully a new seal kit will sort that when I get time.

hi john

a bit of both. it's always had a bit of shake in low 4 (stick used to hit the seat now & then) but after the last transfer replacement & twin stick it was ok for a while & prob the last 2-3 weeks has become really bad.

I'll have a look at the flange. I've replaced all the seals & it still drips. Not a lot just enough to mark it's territory (My mechanic builds Land Rovers so maybe it's just picked up some bad habits  )

for the cause of the leaking seals have you checked the condition of the running diameter surface of the flanges as if they are not clean and shinny it will cause them to constantly leak
Shaking? have you checked the T/box mounts for any splits, or UJ joints?
as for ORA fitting kit, I think they use sj middle prop and front prop on the rear.
