To trim body mounts you would have to strengthen them....they will catch slightly otherwise.
Why you want tires that wide? In my experience wide tires are bad in mud as they stay up on sliperry parts where as narrow ones dig in a grip really well.
33's require alot of work and stong chance of snapping half shafts...cvs etc (could really do to change axles for 33 + above)
Gearing needed is 5.1 or ideally 6.5
Its alot easier cheaper and more sensible to go for 31's
Question you need to ask is why you want 33's and whats the car used for?
Alot of people 'get the tires cheap' and make them fit then regret it.....you need to mod it to suit what you want it for. Iv got tires that measure 33 and its possibly the worst thing iv ever driven on the road and couldnt drive it daily....shocking mpg and top speed of 60mph (very scary)! But 31's are bear-able on and off road
Whats the car used for?

I wish I could give you loads of input but the mods were dont before I bought the truck. Nick who previously owned the truck said that you defo needed the 2" body lift on top of the ORA 4.5 lift.
A Rocklobster is a must and lots of arch trimming
I'd agree about the Mud on steep hills. But it goes pretty much everywhere else I want it to go on the Baja Claws. Road driving is livable for short journeys and weekend runs only.

Thats why ive just bought 2'' bodylift spacers in addition to my ORA 4.5'' lift. Hoping this is enough for the 33'' shod insa turbos im about to get next week. Sponnie are you running a 4.1 rocklobster if so do you think its low enough for your 33s. Worried about the mud issue now, i think should be okay with front and rear arbs in assistance.

Nick says its a 4.1 transfer box and it seems to be perfect for the road and offroad. Your never going to get more than 60+ without thrashing it though.
I don't think you will have issues in the mud with INSA turbos. I have done 4 different pay n' play days and not got stuck yet.
Be careful if you go Arb as with all the stress you will be putting on the Cv's and half shafts with the lower box and massive wheels may push them over the edge. Think about saving up for Uprated components when they become more cost effective.
Cheers.

The sj axles my arbs are coupled to are chromoly 4340 steel. I bought them off gazwell. See garrys competition trayback post. He was running 33s no problems but sold em to me cos he dropped in a vitara2.5 V6!
