hi
just bought a second hand plastic/rubber front bull bar for me jimny .does anyone
know if all you do is unscrew the original lower centre piece of the front bumper
or has it got to be cut out . the bull bar is Suzuki made so i guess it should fit easy.

Not absolutely sure, but i think you just unscrew the lower part.
The screws will all be rusted in and its difficult to get in to get any WD40 on them. I had mine out the other weekend, copper slip on them all before i replaced them!
Always fancied a set of 'tusks' but think they look a tad daft. They are completely for show so not sure i'd want the extra weight and something else to lean over to get under the bonnet

yep it definately fits over, looks a bit odd when you first try it but once you've got those L-shaped brackets lined up it should all make sense.

Each to their own I suppose but why would you want one? I looked at a Jimny with one fitted a few weeks ago and my first thought was 'How do I take this off'.
They don't fulfil any function and the styling is questionable to say the least.

i dont off road my jimny and i have the chrome bars on side and rear but they came with the vehicle. i dont think the big heavy metal bumpers and bar is really req and most defo not people friendly if i was to run some misfortunate over. me rubber bar is black and suits the black infills all ready on . also a nice big pair of spot lights fit great on the bar. as you say each to there own

I must put my hand up and admit to having the chrome bars on the sides but like yours they were on the vehicle when I bought it. Also I thought they may offer some protection when I finally venture off road.
Good luck with the bar though.

I've found bling A-bars as I have one on my GV reduce ground clearance and only get in the way off road, they are designed to crumple in the event of impact, therefore no strength.
