The bumper was angular with stepped up ends - a bit like an Ibex. I just wondered who makes it and if it was home made, if you have any photos of it!
I know it's not much to go on - but worth a go!

Close, but not quite! The ends kind of stepped up either side of the rear lights so the underside of the bumper on the outside of the step was roughly level with the top side between the steps - like an upside down hat!
On a related note, has anyone managed to make an entirely bolt on front / rear winch bumper? I have no fear of welding, except that I want to avoid welding to the chassis except for the main roll cage mountings. My cursory look at the chassis looks devoid of suitable bolt holes!

If I ever get some time off I am going to fit a Hayman Reece tow hitch connector to the front of Jimny and then use a winch hitch to fit into front or rear as required.
Example: cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIte...geName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I've not got round to doing the rear mount yet.
On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.
