Wheels... was created by little jimny
I've found these wheels advertised cheaply and am thinking about them instead of refurbing my steels. Could someone photoshop these onto a Grove Green metallic Jimny? They are 8x15, ET25 - will the standard 205/70/15s sit OK on them, and will they fit the Jimny without clearance issues?

It was the price that got my attention! But it's only a bargain if I can use my existing tyres and they fit properly without fouling anything or looking silly, which is where you guys come in, 'cos I can't see the offset stamped anywhere on the steels. The width worries me a bit - 8 inch on these alloys compared to 5.5 inch on the steels.

Offset is 25.... et25!

Which is fairly high for 8j wheels.... i personally would want to know they wouldnt foul the INSIDE of the arch's/suspension etc.

Whap some spacers on iof they do :-)

The other 5 spokes further along are et (minus) 25, they would be better

That's what I'm worried about. I think the offset of the standard steel wheels is ET5, and comparing them on www.willtheyfit.com shows the inner edge would sit much further inside the arch, so does anyone know if there is enough room inside the arch to get away with this?

How does this work? There's just about enough stud to get the wheel nuts on. Do you have to fit longer studs? Is that an easy job?

Looking at those on www.willtheyfit.com shows the inner edge would sit the same as the standard wheel (assuming it is ET5), but they stick out much further so there's a chance they'd stick out past the arch which would be an MOT fail

You can go a fair way before they go past the arch mate, mine are 15x7 et - 20 and dont stick out at all!

The spacers are bolted on i think or come with extender studs.

Easiest way, is to get offset of standard rims, check inner clearence and then according to what the offset calculator says then measure up...

Thanks for that. Have you got any pictures of yours with the 7x15s on, just to show how they sit in the arches? I would go and have a look at the Jimny just now but my wife has taken it to work and left me with her car, complete with empty fuel tank!
