Good memory Jack. The Kaimans in 205/70/15 are the same size as my current 215/75/15.

Surprisingly good even in the wet. I have always used this tyre on all my 4x4's over the years and never found anything better off road. The down side is they sound like a old prop plane taking off over 30 mph. :)

Had them on my Lada Niva before I fitted the Kaimans. Good off road but in time the flint around here cut them and I had to super glue the blocks down for the MOT. :)

215/80/16 will give you 29.5 high and 8.5" wide. :) 30/9.5/16 will be the same height but and inch wider.

Guys I still can't make my mind up I have decided on all terrain tyres (remoulds) but I don't know if I should go for 195/80 or 205/70 is there much difference? I know they are both roughly the same height but will the width help with the off-roading?
