And lucky me. It's with a 2-lug pickup ring for the camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor as well. So a bit easier swap for the G13BB.
And once again my favorite postoffice guy / Zook parts dealer Dave @bits4vits came to the rescue, helping me getting hands on an adapter kit from waterbabies + other bits
Should have the engine in, in a few weeks

It's a G16B out of a 2000 Baleno.

An easy fit? Haven't looked into engine conversions yet...

more or less. You need an adapter between gearbox and engine. Also need to work something out with the oil pan and pickup pipe.
And then there's the thing with the starter motor. and a few other things as well.
And also a bit of work needs to be done with the driverside engine mount. But the kit I bought has a new mount, which makes that part a bit easier.

Other than that sounds similar to the old SJ to Vit 1.6 conversion...

Looking for a nice clean and straight LHD Jimny..... Not any more.
Got one that seems to have been magnatized and driven through the "Big Jimny Bits" parts stores too quickly so it missed a few items.
