The concept is novel and would be fun for a few times , but just offroading with lots of water takes its toll on a vehicle.. Putting it in sea water would destroy it in no time..
As a boat it would be extremely inefficient and would probably have more fun in a real boat, be able to go one hell of a lot faster and cheaper to run overall.
I go to pay and play sites and watch as other take great joy in submerging their vehicles while i sit there thinking if i wanted to go that deep i would use a boat !
