The salesman was a really nice guy, but obviously doesn't know too much about 4WD. The green light showing the axles was on the dashboard, and the wheels snatched on my driveway when I moved it, so it was definitely in 4WD. I pressed 2WD and there was definitely a difference. This is the 2013 Jimny (don't know if the others are different) that has the three push buttons.
I've put together an email which I'm going to send to them, asking for it to be inspected at their expense.

Are you a member of the AA cos I think you need support. Me, I'd be tempted to walk away from the vehicle but it is easy to say and not so easy to do.

Still, it would always be a niggle in my mind. When my Junior was dropped off the transporter I ran the engine for a short while before I checked the oil.......it was as near as dammit empty. I expect it was loaded on like that and I bet run like that earlier. Thank the Lord I didn't drive her around ot drive her back for delivery. To this day I wonder if it took miles off the engine. Sure she is a really sweet runner, most say it is sooooo quiet but still.....................

Yes thanks, I do tend to worry about things. As was said if it is OK that's OK. I was more ranting about shocking dealerships and garages than anything.
