I know this topic has been discussed already but I can't seem to find it. So, I'm thinking of changing ALL oils in my Jimny and I could use some help. What grade oils (and how much of it) goes in:

-engine
-gearbox
-transfer box
-diffs

I didn't get a manual with my car. It's '06 1.3VVT manual. I've changed engine oil in my VW so that part is easy. I know I need to remove filler plugs first when changing diff oil. What about gearbox and transfer box?

What else should be changed with oils other than oil filter?

I read your other post about difficulty selecting gear, whenever I change the gearbox oil I definitely feel a difference and selecting gear feels easier.

So, I've changed all my oils and I must say the gearbox one was tricky... at least the fuller plug removal.

One thing that made filling all of it really easy and clean was this thing. I drilled 6mm hole at the nozzle and put a piece of hose from spare hydration system I have (heat gun helps to slide the hose on nozzle). Than I just filled it with needed amount of oil, pumped it and sat as it did all the work.
