Things are progressing nicely! The lower hull and upper decking will be sandwiched together towards the end of this week.

Here are a few photos of the lower hull. It's very yellow!

Yep, I've gone for canary yellow with black trim and roof! I wanted something that would stand out both on the road and sea!

Just a quick update the upper and lower hull have been bonded together. My Surf is the yellow one on its side in the picture which shows you the stainless steel cooling pipes for the engine when it's in the water.

This is making me envious, keep up the good work. I have however got a question. I have read the full page from dutton and whilst it makes mention of axle suck and suitable ventilation of the case it doesn't make any mention of the front swivels being made water tight, which is likely to be an issue with the existing seals only being for dust? Are they just increasing the service intervals to say every full 20 hours under water or have they come up with a modification to preserve the cv and kingpin assembly, beyond over packing with waterproof grease?

Hi,

I would dearly like to come for a ride/take pictures/take video when this is finished if possible!

(I even have access to a lake with slipway in Berkshire - or River Thames :) )
