Grand vitara Snorkel was created by MarkBoulton
Hi guys I have purchased a snorkel on eBay but it does not have a template. does anyone out there have a template for this ?
I have done one myself but this is a fitted snorkel and its positioning on the wing is crucial so I really need a template.

I'd start by nagging the supplier?

Or, get a piece of cardboard, cut a hole the size of the tube that sticks through the wing out of it and then slip it over the tube and draw around the snorkel body, and poke a screwdriver through into the mounting bolt threaded holes, then cut around the shape of the body and use that to line up where everything needs to go...?

Thanks S200KYS,

Nagged the supplier to the point he wants to partial refund !

Did the cardboard too no problem but this snorkel is shaped like the wing and fits anatomically round it so it is very difficult to determine exactly where it goes on the body.

Start new template up the inside of snorkel where it touches the wing
Then you will have an idea as to the position
Better to make the big hole a little higher then you can elongate downwards
That way you will not have any hole on show ;)
