Had it a week. Going well. Such personality for a new car.

For those of us without satnav, this is a pretty neat thing. Good position to hold the phone. Easy to put in and take out, and holds it solidly too.

Hi Mikey love the car in thst colour - I guess thats the silver. ...A slightly personal number too perhaps?

That phone holder looks ideal for my purposes too, but it gets some proper mixed reviews on Amazon :( .

Please do let us know how it fares with time

Yeh it’s silky silver metallic.

The phone holder comes with a choice if 3 rubber inserts that let you pick the one that fits the cd slot best. No thumbscrews or anything else required. Seems to work really well.

Looks great. Actually like the plastic door handles vs my painted ones. Glad your enjoying it.

Thanks for the reply Mikey

Silver is somehow easy and timeless to live with. It's also one of the colours less prone to showing scratches apparently (info from Detailing World ). Alas its one of the most difficult colours along with white to make look shiny, however if you use AG SRP followed by Colinite 845 you should get a really good wet-look shine with lots of paint protection. These are the products I use on my silver (and white) cars.
She looks really nice with all the black trim. Halfrauds sell a really nice black trim product by Meguiars that I can also personally recommend

I ordered it back in the first week of December so I need to check for 100% accuracy but I believe R6600 and R300 for courier though they ran a day late and missed me (as I have been in Vietnam for a month), hence the delay in installation.

Thanks, I still have the one off my old Jimny, but the roof is a lot wider on this one, so I don't think it will fit.

Car is at the dealers for two hours to hopefully diagnose a braking issue. I think it’s a warped disc.

Meanwhile, a delivery has arrived...

Nice, I have been thinking that color grille would look good on my Black one (but I do prefer the slotted grille)
