Really good idea..! Sick of banging my elbow into it as well, might copy that idea!

You used metal plates? Where you able to make them without any sharp edges? Easy to cut holes in expensive clothes.

B) Nice and sturdy.
RTV = Road Trim Vehicle? NL4x4 has that class and it means = something which could pass an MOT (just). expect a risk of going on your lid

Road taxed vehicle class should be a breeze nothing to demanding according to organiser
Maybe 2020 will enter CCV custom class vehicle but will need roll cage and a lot more demanding

Also a new interior light nice and bright

Happy with the new additions :)

Jack how did you fit the interior light to the headliner and did you wire it into the courtesy light under the rear view mirror? Im king of following your work Jack or kind of on the same wave length I seem to be thinking the same way about the same things .

Heavy Duty Transfer Box Brackets, 2-inch Black Raptor lift kit, caster adjusters, Rust removed and stich welded new sections. Galvanised Chassis. Body,Engine, transmission swap. Anti Rollbar Roll / Sway Bar / DAVES ARB disconnect kit.Osram Night Breaker Head light mod and white 501 led side lights.

The lamp is a ring one same as my reverse light
I cut a square hole half inch sized used a flexible tent pole pushed it towards where the old light was
then tapped wires to thin steel rod pushed it along side to get wires through
connected to connector for old light (just be aware it only operates with door open)
The back of light is nice and flat so i used hook side of some velcro glued to light
pressed it to roof liner and it's never moved since ;)

Best thing i've done it's so bright :)

Going to do this mod think its a good option, the door will always be open to get gear out.

Velcro is great for a semi-permanent attatchment of lightweight items. I've used Velcro extensively on internal trim panels on executive jets. The only weak-link is the glue attaching it, which could eventually fail particularly when it gets very old and spent lots of time in very hot climates.

Great write up

I like velcro a little to much :pinch:
My other like is 3M acrylic foam tape this is how the rear fog and reverse lights are held on :)
