Lol
I'm a mechanic (aircraft day to day, cars only as required) so tbh most of this stuff is just another day at the office for me.
I hope sharing will help others, the g13bb is a very simple engine to work on and with the manuals readily available many tasks that appear daunting really aren't.

Finally back on the road :)
I was under a bit of pressure to get it done so a little light on pictures sorry.
Refurbished head.
File Attachment:

I had to swap a few bits from the old head...
No studs
File Attachment:

No problem
File Attachment:

Simply wind 2 nuts onto the stud and tighten them against each other then wind the stud out like a bolt, install the stud into its new location and lose the nuts and remove them. Repeat as required and presto job's a good un.
File Attachment:

I also had to swap my camshaft in, which turned out to be a good thing as it had be incorrectly assembled. All the journal bolts had been fitted dry and massively over torqued.
Also managed to misplace my cam position sensor and housing so thanks to James (J999pre) for sorting me out with another one :)
Found this in the back end of the old head
File Attachment:

K seal anyone?

Not really, I bought it knowing it had a head gasket issue but didn't get the head pressure tested when I had it skimmed so more fool me really.

A couple of thoughts on the job.
If you plan on removing the box or you've only got the front in the air, drain the box before removing the output propshaft or you'll be swimming in gear oil (guess how I found that out....)
If you are just doing the clutch you shouldn't have to totally drop the box if you remove the rear mount/linkage assy (you're supposed to do this anyway) and prop it will pull back far enough to give you plenty of room.
If you do decide to pull the box you can do it without removing the exhaust and front prop but you need to remove the 2 studs from the bottom front of the box, the rubber rear mount itself and the exhaust hangar bracket off the rear mount bracket (one bolt). With a bit of fiddling it will drop out.

I wanted to give the box a good clean up so I pulled it completely

Also took the opportunity to fit an extended breather hose

how are you finding the feel of the HD clutch, much heavier under the pedal ?

i fitted a new clutch when i swapped the motor, but it was an OEX or something & i'm unhappy with it, awful pedal feel & it tends to slip & stink of burning.
