No just greased the threads for easy removal. The full set of 4 new shocks only cost me marginally more than you'd pay for a single pro comp. ...

It's back on it's wheels, so I decided to move it to the front of the drive for a bit more work space. Upon start up a loud squeal made itself known, the blasted alternator has seized solid, yet another job for the to do list. I'm going to try get my hands on a rebuild kit and I'll do a how to if people are interested.

Ended up buying a second hand alternator.
Started on the rear bumper but unfortunately rain has stopped play :(

Just got trim the ends as per the drawing then drill/bolt it on :)

I need to lift the bumper up another inch but it started hosing down before I could finish adjusting it.

Made up the doublers/nut plates to go inside the chassis rail. 5x m12 bolts either side
