Thanks for explaining, definitely worthwhile then. It must feel lovely to drive with everything you have done to it.

Halford wrote: with the old ones you can squash the corners of metal plates together slightly, compressing the rubber (with its cracks and minor splits) , bit like a squidgy mallow biscuit.

with the new ones there's practically no give at all.

now I am not a dentist spanner monkey, but it feels to me that this minor increase in rigidity had a major increase in car rigidity, driving on the road the car feel much tighter and more responsive, to try and explain the feeling it's like it used to go around a roundabout like a bus, lethargically yet controlled, whereas now it goes around like a mini - point and shoot, much easier to get the back end out

also re; the rear engine (gearbox) mount - the stick doesn't jump about so much and gear selection is easier as before, infrequently I'd miss a gear, but I'd put that down to the body lift and stick realignement, but it wasn't

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationinspired by James

made a 2nd attempt at making a sun visor strip, but this time used the precut option

much easier to fit

got the dark 20% tint

works well, but the tint ends right on my eyeline, would have prefered a graduated tint, but hey-ho

;)

well after all this time, only just realised that the armrests unscrew from the rear panels

so off they came, and used some self tappers to screw some useful storage tins in their place ;)

:) I'm easy pleased.

Have you thought of giving the tins a coat of matching paint?

Do the springs have a seat for the pigtails or do jimny Springs end flat? Is it possible they have rotated and the end of the Spring being out of its seat account for the difference in heights?
