So I am guessing this is not right? was created by Godfather68
So following yesterday’s post on lift and the amazing support, I followed the suggestion to check if other things were standard that might need to have been changed as part of the lift.

So where the front prop joins the transfer box I am guessing it ought to be a better fit than this?

It barely seems to be in the socket!

I am guessing some form of prop spacer is required?

You guessed correctly!

Spacer needed......how much is it lifted out of curiosity....I have a 4" lift with a 25mm spacer and no splines showing.

We concluded that it is probably a 2” lift, but no way for me to be sure. Will go with a 12mm spacer to start and see if that helps.

Am I right I can add to both ends so start with 12 at one end and go with another 12 at the other end if not enough?

You could add at each end....I don't see any point.

Not raining today so here's my 4" lifted with spacer.
I ran a 2" lift for 3 years....never needed a spacer!

I noticed no washers under the bolts....bodger!

Does it have a Jimny transfer box or an SJ transfer box? Has someone changed it to sj and not put the right props on

How do you tell the difference?

I know nothing of the history unfortunately.

I have ordered a 12.5 and a 25 so should be able to deal with the gap one way or another!
