Hi,

need to change a rear axle bearing on my Jimny from 1998. Do you know how to check if I have ABS (without stomping the brakes and see if the ABS engages)?

Under the bonnet on the right hand side there will be a big metal block that has a load of metal brake pipes and a big electrical plug if you have abs. Also from underneath the car you will see a plastic connector on the drum back plate with a wire leading from it if you have abs. I'm not sure from when abs was on all Jimny but an early one is less likely to have it.
